Reflections from the Final LapKathy Allison
9:15 AM and 11:15 AM sessions
The Bible often compares the Christian life to a race.  We will look back over our lifetime in this marathon to notice some specific checkpoints. Some are needed to check the heart, some to show the way ahead and others for strength to endure.  God was at each one and knew exactly what was needed for us to carry on.  Come and here how the Spiritual Disciplines ensured I stayed in the race.

Parenting; A Journey of Expectations, Unknowns and GrowthDanielle Brubacher
9:50 AM session
Parenting was going to be something I was great at and I was so excited to be a mommy!  In reality, parenting brought me to a really uncomfortable and desperate place.  I look forward to sharing some of my journey with you.  The Lord has taught me so much through raising our amazing kids and living with the effects of Tourettes and anxiety in our home.

ForgivenessSandra deVries
9:50 AM session
Forgiveness isn’t based on fairness.  We have been forgiven so much, yet forgiving can be so hard.  Forgiveness is a choice and making that choice as well as living it out can often trip us up.  How are we going to choose to grow, rooted in bitterness or rooted in love?  Come and explore with me, from God’s word mixed with personal lessons, the freedom that is possible when we forgive just as in Christ God forgave us.

Marriage; Tending Your Garden with Loving CarePauline Weber
11:15 AM session
Regular attention given to a marriage relationship promises great rewards. Love has a way of growing stronger and deeper so take heart.  God equips you to be what He designed you to be; a complement, a helper and companion to your husband. God’s Word is relevant to marriages of today’s culture. We hope to look at practical ways to live out God’s principals in our homes.

Giving our Kids Roots for Real Life with JesusHeidi Konig
11:15 AM session
We long to see our children thrive, so how do we equip them?  How do you help your children develop their own, vibrant, authentic faith?  Each child is so different and just when you think you have figured out how to parent, the next one proves that you haven’t or the one you thought you had figured out enters a new phase.  Our parenting journey has had some predictable challenges and some unexpected ones.  My kids are not ‘model’ pastors’ kids, nor am I the perfect mother.  But we’ve reached a stage where we really enjoy each other and are walking this journey of real life with Jesus together.  I will share some of the things that helped me give them roots.
