Please pray for Sydonie and Josh Raben, as Sydonie's brother (Tristan) died suddenly Friday night. Tristan was 32 years old, and Sydonie is grieving deeply the loss of her gentle, oldest brother. Arrangements are not yet confirmed, but the funeral will take place in London later in the week. Please pray that the peace of God, which transcends understanding, will guard the hearts and minds of those grieving the loss of Tristan; and for the comfort of the Holy Spirit at this difficult time.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to update everyone on my status and thank everyone for their continued prayers and support for myself and our family. A few weeks ago I had another CT. This is the first real major marker as to how I am actually doing since my original cancer diagnosis in feb.
All good reports back, and seeing some real answers to prayers. All my bloodwork has returned to normal levels, they found no cancer on my vertebrae, and a marked decrease of cancer on my liver and Right lung. They were able to note a change in the ability of my lung to inflate and exchange oxygen again.
So all great news, I'm just taking the Lord for his word enjoying every day, trying not to worry about tomorrow, and if I focus on today....there is so so much to be thankful for!
Thank you again for your continued prayers and support, we miss you!!

"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)
Dear friends in Christ,
This is an invitation to prayer and fasting for Todd Roes and his family. I met them through Foundation Christian School, and I also attend Woodside. Since hearing about Todd’s diagnosis I have felt burdened to pray and fast for God to be glorified in the life of the Roes family, and in particular for Todd’s healing. After I approached them, Pastor Dan, Cairine and Todd all gave me permission to reach out to you and invite you to consider prayer and fasting, in whatever way the Spirit leads, during the week of Friday June 12 to Thursday June 18. This could be for a meal, or a day, or whatever duration and in whatever way you feel led.
Thank you for considering.
“The goal of prayer is the ear of God.” (C.H. Spurgeon)

Good Morning Woodside Church
Thank you for all you have done for myself and my family.
I would like to ask that you pray for me, After being in a car accident in Dec. being in pain every day is getting really old. In a time where I wish I could do so much more to help people it hard to keep resting to heal or if I will ever heal. I am very frustrated and feel defeated.
I look forward to great service today and wish you a great day. Ed

Just wanted to share a prayer request / update for my Grandma. Some of you may know some of these details, but waned to share everything here for those who don't yet.
Last Sunday (April 19) we got news that my Grandma Kathy (who is a resident at Forest Heights long term care) tested positive for COVID-19. Her symptoms started mild with a cough and a low grade fever, but as of Saturday (April 25) she has been moved from her ward room to a semi private room for spacing purposes and and since her phone was in her other room, no one has really been able to get a hold of her since then. She happens to be one of the home's residents who is on a list to be moved to a hospital. They may look into having her phone relocated if she won't be moving to a hospital. My family spoke to my Grandma briefly on Sunday (April 26) and she is doing her best to cope but is very hyper focused on taking tums and having to frequent the bathroom. The staff shared that if we don't hear from them that she is OK.
If you would pray for her and my family during this time, that would be much appreciated.

Please pray for a family who is struggling with several issues. they have reduced income because of reduced work during this crisis. They have a rental property in another community that will be vacant of tenants at the end of the month. They need wisdom to know to hold onto it vacant or try to sell it. And they have concerns regarding the health of two daughters who live out of town who are both ill with COVID like symptoms and also their elderly parents who are well but in a high risk population. Thank you for your prayers.

Father we thank you that you are a God of details. You walk with us each step of the way. On this weekend we remember the death and resurrection of your son and are so grateful for this great sacrifice. We ask for your protection during this time of Covid-19. We ask that many would come to know you and that you would work you ways and will through this difficult period in our lives, to grow us, to mature us and to work a great revival. In the name of Jesus we pray and according to your will and purposes, Amen

With all of the recent changes due to COVID-19, I have extreme concern for those who suffer from mental illnesses and addictions as their symptoms are likely heightened due to this time of stress. As isolation precautions endure, I know that things for those struggling will likely feel worse (uncertainty around paying for expenses, concerns about going to doctors to get medications, and so on). Although the precautions are necessary, I fear that mental health concerns will skyrocket during this time. Prayer for those suffering with mental health and addictions, and those who previously were coping well, whose coping mechanisms have been uprooted would be greatly appreciated. Please pray that God will meet those who are struggling in the midst of their heartache and bring them peace.
