Praise update!

Thank you for your continued prayers for the Huard family of West Montrose. 5 weeks ago, their daughter Lea was struck by a vehicle after school and suffered severe, life threatening injuries.

Lea is making an incredible recovery to the absolute shock and awe of her skilled healthcare team. She is walking, talking, singing, joking and able to participate in an extensive rehab program. She was able to be discharged home with her family for Thanksgiving weekend before entering a rehab facility this week for the next 6-12 weeks.

Praise the Lord for the amazing recovery that this 11 year old is making day by day and week by week. Thank you for your prayers, the family express their thanks for the support of our prayerful community.

Please pray for me as I am feeling troubled by school, relationships and my family. I want Jesus to be at the center of my life, and to have a plan for the future that glorifies God.

Please pray for the Huard family, Vanessa, Andre and their daughter's Claire and Lea. Lea, (Grade 6) was struck by a truck when exiting her school bus on Thursday afternoon, just outside of their family home on Katherine St in West Montrose.

Lea suffered multiple fractures and she is currently in the paediatric ICU at McMaster Hospital, intubated, in a drug-induced coma and she is being monitored for a severe brain injury. The family is awaiting a consult with a neurosurgeon who will be reviewing Lea's MRI with them. The next 24hrs are critical in establishing her level of recovery.

Please lift this family up in prayer as they await the unknown. They do not belong to a church family but have given permission to have this shared and they covet our prayers and support.
