Plan to Protect @ Woodside

If you plan to volunteer in programs involving children, youth, or vulnerable adults, you must complete our annual Plan to Protect screening. This includes the Plan to Protect training, an original police check (vulnerable sector), and the appropriate application forms.


We offer live training events in September and June.

If you were unable to attend any in-house trainings, you will need to complete the training online.

Every adult volunteer working with the vulnerable sector must provide us with a current and original police check that has been completed within the last 5 years.

  • For those in Waterloo Region, please read the Police Check Procedure Details
  • For those residing outside Waterloo Region, contact your local OPP detachment or local police service and request a “vulnerable sector check”.


YOUTH (17* and under)
Please complete the
 Youth Volunteer Application Form and the Assistant Leader Expectations and Volunteer Contract

*Upon turning 17, returning Youth volunteers must complete the Adult Volunteer Application and Ministry Covenant Forms.

ADULTS (18+)
Please complete the 
 Adult Volunteer Application Form and the Ministry Covenant Form and have a police check done (see above for details).

Please return ALL completed forms to your ministry leader or the church office.
