At Woodside, we value God’s ideal plan for thriving marriages.
The marriage ministry at Woodside endeavours to encourage, enrich, equip and point marriages towards Hope. We care about the marriages within our church family and in our community (those that are thriving and those that are struggling alike). We desire to encourage individuals and couples towards a deeper relationship with Jesus and one another.
What We Do
Marriage Events: Once a year, we host an event that is designed to inspire and strengthen marriages. (Stay tuned for details on our next event!)
Marriage Mentors: Our Marriage Mentorship Program connects couples who desire encouragement and guidance with experienced mentor couples. These mentors walk alongside you – not as experts, but as couples who have also experienced the joys and challenges of marriage – sharing stories, listening, and learning together. Stronger marriages build stronger families, and stronger families build a stronger community.
Program Details:
- One-year commitment
- Monthly mentor/mentee meetings
- Mentor couples have been married for at least 7 years and have completed Marriage Mentor Training
- Matches are made by the Marriage Mentor Team
- Conversation guides are provided for each session
