Momentum Jr. Youth Retreat:
This November, our Jr. Youth will be piling into buses and heading to the Momentum Youth Conference at Calvary church in Cambridge! This is an amazing opportunity for our students to spend the weekend having a blast together, to worship with other youth groups from all around Ontario, and to be encouraged and challenged in their faith by a variety of speakers. The weekend will include games, worship, speaking, and a variety of optional activities. It’s going to be epic!
If you want to know more about Momentum, you can check out their website. We will be participating at the Cambridge location.
If you would like to attend Momentum this year, (November 7 & 8), the last day to register is November 2nd. We will be meeting at the Church on November 7 at 4:30pm and will be back for an 8:00pm pick up on November 8. Please note that we will not be providing dinner on Friday Nov 7, so youth should come with food in hand or already in their stomach!
The event costs $100/person. Please also bring money for dinner Saturday night, as we will be stopping at Chick-Fil-A on our way home from the event for dinner.
Once you register, you can either bring in cash or cheque to the Church, or you can send an etransfer to transfers@woodsidechurch.ca. But, please ensure that you specify ‘student’s name’ and ‘Momentum’ in the field notes.
We will be sleeping over at Woodside, so students may choose to sleep at home or at the Church. For students sleeping at home Friday Night, note that buses will be leaving from Woodside at 8:30am Saturday morning.
We look forward to seeing you there!
