We can all use a helping hand from time to time. At Woodside, we are a church family with a long legacy of offering encouragement and support in practical, tangible ways. As an extended family, we seek to ensure that anyone walking through a difficult season or crisis can experience expressions of God’s love and care.
Meals
Are you or a family member facing illness or recovering after a hospital stay? Have you recently welcomed a new baby into your family? We would be glad to provide one or more home-cooked, frozen meals to help ease the load during this season.
Odd Jobs
Have you recently moved and need help hanging a picture? Are you dealing with an illness or injury and could use assistance with a time-sensitive task? Our Woodside family includes many capable and willing helpers who would love to lend a hand.
Transportation
While many who call Woodside home live in Elmira, there are times when travel outside of town is needed – for specialist appointments or outpatient hospital care. Public transit isn’t always suitable, but we do have volunteers who may be able to help with transportation. We can’t promise, but we are happy to try!
