Luke 7:36-50
When Simon the Pharisee invites Jesus over for dinner (Luke 7:36-50) he never expected a ‘sinful’ woman to crash the party! Jesus’ parable of 2 debtors, one small and one large, turns everything on its head, showing how we will love little unless we understand the true depth of our sin. When we do, it will give us Jesus’ eyes for the true humanity and value in all people and inspire a gratitude as we sit at the feet of our Saviour.
